Sundays and Mondays Tax Preparation – The VITA Program will be providing free income tax preparation for all ages and low income families on Sundays from 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. and Mondays 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. through April 18. Participants will be required to register by calling TEAM at 203-736-5420.
Tuesdays and Thursdays Tax Preparation – AARP volunteers will be providing free income tax preparation from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday through April 14. Participants will be required to register by calling 203-877-5131.
March 8 Wednesday Blue Star Memorial –1:00 p.m. Come learn about the project the Milford Garden Club is installing in front of the Fowler Building to honor our Veterans that have served, are serving and will serve in the United States Armed Forces.
March 13 Monday The Amazing Life of St. Patrick –1:00 p.m. We will follow St. Patrick from the outmost reaches of the Roman Empire to Rome, and back again to dangerous, pagan Ireland. Presented by June Sheahan: teacher, author, mother of seven, grandmother of 24 and “Enthusiast of St. Patrick”. A prayer of protection, composed by the saint himself, in 433 A.D., will be distributed to all.
March 15 Wednesday Keeping Fit- 1:00 p.m. Receive tips and insight on maintaining good nutrition and ways to stay both physically and mentally active. There will be prizes and giveaways. The program is presented by Stony Creek Urgent Care.

March 21 Tuesday What is Home Care? –1:00 p.m. Aging in place and living independently as long as possible is important to you and your loved ones. This presentation will help uncover the many ways home care services can help and who is eligible. Presented by Gladys Buckman Csizmar, Director of Marketing and Sales, Home Care Plus.

The show concludes with a stirring patriotic segment, followed by a rousing finale of “God Bless America.” Band and Choral Group Directed by Linda Whittaker. March 28 Tuesday Healthy LivingFor You Brain and Body- 1:00 p.m. For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to optimize our physical and cognitive health as we age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement. We will use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. Presented by Maria Tomasetti of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Month of March Art Exhibit- Maria Hamilton, our volunteer hairstylist, paints in her spare time. She is inspired by unique and unusual landscapes, the changing seasons and nature. She invites you to view some of her favorites, on display at the Milford Public Library this month.
